- A “Fu Dog” is a sort of imperial guardian lion. A strong feng shui protection symbol, they were traditionally placed in front of imperial palaces, temples, and government offices. They were also a symbol of family wealth and social status and were often placed in front of wealthy homes as a protector. This new design is a very high quality type of Japanese dobby cotton sourced from probably my most premium supplier. Made in Japan and shipped from France. I also absolutely love the little metallic gold highlights throughout the design. I decided to use a perfectly matching alternating purple thread on front, and a metallic gold on the back. The back is also my premium black microsuede. By far the best material there is for cleaning your gear wether it be knives, flashlights, optics, sunglasses, cell screens and more. It’s nice to have a hank that’s not only great looking, but functional as well. SwankHanks was the first microsuede backed hank, and still the best. Only a couple of these up for grabs at the moment.
